PROJECTO LEAD – INFORM TO PREVENT

LEAD - inform to prevent is an European project, co-financed by the European Commission under the Directorate-General for Justice, in which the Portuguese Association for Victim Support, as the promoter, liaises with different partners:

• Victim Support Scotland (Scotland)
• Brottsoffermyndigheten/ Crime Victim Compensation and Support Authority (Sweden)
• Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (Portugal)
• Fundação da Juventude (Portugal)

This project has as its main purpose the development and dissemination of information about street violence, peer violence and other forms of violence for children and youth through different resources:

• website with information about different forms of violence, safety and help-seeking strategies, skills for resolving conflicts and other social challenges;
• awareness and information campaign, to encourage help-seeking and personal safety strategies in situations of violence;
• school agenda with information about different forms of violence, prevention and safety strategies, strategies for help-seeking and for resolving conflicts and other social problems.
